When fingertips gently touch light and shadow, the seeds of technology quietly sprout. This summer, Shadow Technology, together with Zhuhai Zhengling Industrial Service Development Co., Ltd., partnered with Wanzi Sub-district, Qianshan Sub-district and Gongbei Sub-district to launch the summer research series themed “Sail Forward with Scientific and Technological Innovation”. At present, the first session jointly created with Qianshan Sub-district has come to a perfect end. The three-day immersive technology journey allowed children from local communities to personally experience the charm of touch interaction technology through interaction and exploration, igniting their boundless imagination for the future.
Led by our professional instructors, the children embarked on a well-designed technology exploration journey:

After a brief opening session, the children rushed into the free experience area. Faced with our multiple optical touch interactive projection devices, they acted as little explorers, tapping, drawing and playing collaborative games to intuitively feel the sensitivity and convenience of touch interaction.

The themed class “Touch Space-Time Adventure — Explore the Infinite Possibilities of Interaction” officially began! Our technical instructors used vivid, engaging language and abundant image materials to explain the development course of touch technology from its birth to breakthrough progress, as well as its wide applications in daily life in an easy-to-understand way. The children listened attentively and raised questions actively, with seeds of scientific knowledge sown silently in their minds.

The “Draw and Guess” game played via touch projections pushed the atmosphere to a climax. The children competed in groups, unleashing their creativity and testing their tacit understanding on the huge projection canvas. Amid peals of laughter, the interactivity and fun of touch technology were fully demonstrated.
The children turned into “little engineers” and assembled prototype projector teaching aids by hand according to drawings and guidance. When they saw the light and shadow cast by the “small projector” they put together themselves, a strong sense of achievement and a preliminary understanding of optical principles lit up their faces.
At the end of the activity, everyone froze the wonderful moments of encountering technology this summer in front of the tech-themed backdrop.

On the second day of the activity, the Chairman of Xiangzhou District Association for Science and Technology and his entourage visited the research activity site for inspection and guidance. They observed the progress of the research activity, paid special attention to the interactive effect of touch projection technology and its application value in popular science education, spoke highly of the equipment and professional curriculum design provided by Shadow Technology, and fully recognized the positive significance of this research activity. The support from Xiangzhou District Association for Science and Technology and Qianshan Sub-district has strengthened our resolve to further deepen popular science education and serve community development.
The first session of the research activity has concluded successfully. We are delighted to witness that the seeds of technology have quietly sprouted in children’s hearts. From curiosity to hands-on experience, from listening to practical operation, children have gained a more intuitive and profound understanding of touch interaction technology. Shadow Technology has always believed that technology not only transforms life, but also enlightens the future. This successful cooperation with Qianshan Sub-district serves as a vivid practice of our exploration in empowering education with technology and serving communities.
Though the first activity has come to an end, the journey of exploring light and shadow has just set sail. We will earnestly summarize experience from this event and continuously optimize activity contents. We look forward to cooperating with more community partners in the subsequent series of activities, and lighting up children’s dreams of science and technology for more kids with touch interaction technology.
